About Robert Funaro

Robert is an American film and television actor. Funaro is best known for the role of Eugene Pontecorvo in the Emmy Award-winning television series The Sopranos. His last episode on The Sopranos “Members Only,” in which he played the lead, won an Emmy award for “Best Dramatic Episode’ in 2006 for producer/writer Terence Winter. Robert can also be seen in “American Gangster” as McCann, directed by Ridley Scott.  Funaro was born on Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. Funaro is of Italian ancestry. His Italian ancestors were from Naples.[1] Funaro is currently acting in film and T.V. and has worked extensively in the New York City Off Broadway scene.
