On March 5, 2011, at NYIT’s state-of-the-art Auditorium on Broadway, we will be celebrating a quarter-century of Israeli films and filmmakers with our family of sponsors and special guests. The evening includes a private screening of the award-winning film, The Matchmaker, directed by Avi Nesher. This event is our way of saying “Thank You” to our valued sponsors – without you, we could not keep Israeli cinema and culture thriving in the U.S.!
The mission of the Israel Film Festival is to enrich the American vision of Israeli life and culture, to spotlight Israel’s thriving film and television industry, and to promote cultural recognition of Israel through the powerful medium of film.
As an international entertainment industry event, the Festival has brought acclaim to both the films and participants, and has opened new possibilities for cooperation and co-production between the U.S. and Israeli film industries.
Each year, the Festival explores Israeli society by premiering Israeli features, documentaries, television dramas and student shorts, and through conversations with visiting Israeli filmmakers in three major U.S. cities: Los Angeles, New York and Miami.
For 25 years, the Festival has created an exciting and artistic platform for engaging diverse audiences with the richness of Israeli life and culture.

If you’ve spent any time in chat rooms or posting on an online discussion board you may have already come across one of these troublesome creatures. Often suffering from a mutant strain of compulsive posting disorder, a troll’s basic mission in life is to mischievously manufacture inflammatory opinions in an attempt to stir up disharmony and discord.
Why do some people just not get it? VIP Talent Connect helps people jump start their entertainment careers, identifying the roadblocks that have been holding them back. People do not like being held accountable for their failure—this is exactly what happens at VIP. Sometimes a potential talent is told of their faults and why the entertainment business may not be right for them. People will use any excuse not to admit to their own faults. The Internet is full of websites where people can blame everyone but themselves. There’s definitely a lot of misogyny on the Web in general– just look at any mass-audience site that allows anonymous comments.
Most people’s problems start with themselves. It is the most difficult and most important step to come to terms with these internal issues and resolve them. If you don’t have what it takes, the talent executives at VIP won’t fool you; they tell you why you are failing. Ultimately, having a successful entertainment career is up to you. VIP Talent Connect can’t help people who can’t help themselves. VIP can put you face to face with the decision makers in the industry– the people you need to meet, but if you are not self motivated and you don’t take the personal initiative to demonstrate why they should want you, what more can anyone do for you. It’s up to you to make and maintain relationships with the guest speakers at VIP events. VIP Talent Connect offers qualified individuals the unique opportunity to make personal connections with successful industry professionals. It’s sad when people don’t respect women like Alycia Kaback who work hard every day to help people. Sometimes helping people means telling someone they can’t do this right now– that they should spend some time developing their lives, making the recommended improvements to better themselves. If this was easy, everyone would be successful not just the select few. Which side do you want to be on?
Jim Carrey, who broke up with Jenny McCarthy in April, was photographed Thursday night in New York holding hands with Anchal Joseph, a former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant.
Joseph is 24-years old — Carrey is 49.
If they are dating, it will be Carrey’s third public appearance with a woman — he was photographed cuddling with an unidentified brunette in October and then with a blonde in New York just last week — since the split with McCarthy, which she spoke out about months after it went down. In September,McCarthy told Oprah that their relationship “wasn’t fun,” and in October, said that she “was pretending” with the comedy legend.
There’s been more action for McCarthy since the breakup. She dated Jason Tohey for four monthsbefore splitting with the bodybuilder in December; now, she’s dating sports agent Paul Kerepelka. To see Anchal Joseph’s Modeling Portfolio on Colby Models Click Here

Paris Themmen is a former child star, most notable for his role as Mike Teevee in the original 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. VIP Talent were delighted to hear him speak at the last event held Bennett Media Studios, where he talked about marketing and promotional techniques as well as his experience as a child star. This was particularly important for the many aspiring child stars that attended the last event. However, even the older crowd had much to learn as Paris is well versed in marketing. Paris still works hard doing a lot of the promotional work for Willy Wonka and Mike Teevee. More info about VIP Talent Connect!
